First Post!

So, this one is going to be pretty short and sweet...
This is my first blog; so I'm pretty new to all of this...but everything that I've read in health magazines said that blogging REALLY helps with exercise, eating healthy, and losing weight...so I figured I'd give it a shot! :)

I recently adopted my WONDERFUL dog, Buddy, who is a one-year-old Golden Retriever/Yellow Lab mix :) Therefore...he needs A LOT of exercise!!! I live in an apartment with him, so I've been taking him to the dog park a lot to play with other dogs and burn off all of that puppy energy!

But I noticed that I've kinda been in a slump the past few months...really tired all of the time, not really motivated, always wanting to sleep whenever I get the chance...It's understandable to a point since I am a full-time college student with a part-time job and there's been A LOT going on in my personal life...but I feel like it's just gotten out of hand! I'm not overwhelmed enough to be burnt out with school and work...but that's how it feels already!

So I'm taking it upon myself to get out of this mess and get in shape for me AND Buddy!!!

Tomorrow is a new day; a new Monday to be precise...so the start of a new week, and a new routine!
